Taslan Fabric Description

In 1935, a new synthetic polyamide, called nylon, was synthesized in the laboratory of the American company DuPont. It is produced in the form of fibers that are used to make fabrics. Nylon is characterized by high strength, elasticity, and fire resistance. The disadvantages include poor vapor permeability, which creates a greenhouse effect on the skin.

Using this fiber in the form of a base, create varieties of nylon with improved properties.

What is Taslan fabric? - This is a polyamide fiber made by the method of rep weaving of threads, as a result of which small scar forms on the surface of the fabric. By production, fibers of different thicknesses are used, which determine the density of the fabric.

A polymer coating is applied to the nasal Taslan from the inside. Due to its porous structure, fumes from the body are easily brought out.

In addition, the fabric is treated with water-repellent impregnation, which improves its hydrophobic properties.

Taslan fabrics - improved nylon qualities

The nylon Taslan fabric has acquired an important property - it has become a breathable material. In addition, it is treated with waterproof impregnation WR and polyurethane coating PU. They protect it from moisture, dirt, and grease, and provide resistance to chemicals.

The Taslan material has gained popularity in the manufacture of outerwear due to its properties:

Strength and wear resistance. The material is not afraid of mechanical stresses in bending and tearing and is resistant to friction.

Ease. It has a small specific gravity at high density.

Breathability and vapor permeability create good thermoregulation. The skin remains dry even under heavy physical exertion.

Water-resistant. The Taslan fabric does not absorb moisture and dries quickly.

Resistance to chemicals. The coating prevents the penetration of dirt and grease into the fiber structure and is easy to clean.

Resistant to ultraviolet radiation, does not lose color, and does not collapse, unlike nylon.

It does not require special care.

High-performance characteristics of Taslan fabric are maintained during prolonged exposure to adverse weather conditions and repeated washing.

What is made from Taslan fabric?

The fabric is delivered in rolls of 1.5 m width with marking of density, reinforcement, and impregnation treatment. You can buy Taslan fabric in sports and military clothing stores.
