Spring sub-textile Specifications
E.g:
240T spring sub-textile
The T number of spring sub-textile refers to the number of yarns per unit area of fabric: the larger the T number, the more yarns per unit area.
75D*150D/288F
It means that the warp yarn is 75D polyester yarn, and the weft yarn is 150D (denier), 288F (Filament) polyester yarn.
"D" is the abbreviation of DENIER (denier), which is a method of expressing the fineness of chemical fibers, which refers to the weight of 9000 meters of yarn, also known as a denier. The larger the D, the thicker the yarn.
"F" refers to the number of fibers per yarn. The higher the F number, the finer the fibers that make up the yarn. On the contrary, the smaller the F, the thicker the fibers.
The difference with polyester taffeta
Polyester taffeta is a kind of all polyester thin fabric with specifications of 190T, 250T, and so on.
Polyester taffeta is suitable for jackets, umbrellas, car covers, sportswear, marine umbrellas, handbags, luggage, sleeping bags, tents, artificial flowers, shower curtains, tablecloths, chair covers, and other high-end clothing linings. Polyester taffeta is also a traditional fabric of chemical fiber fabrics. It was popular for a while, but its sales decreased with the rise of several new chemical fiber fabrics. In the second half of 2004, after the polyester taffeta fabric used matte silk, it entered the market with a new and colorful appearance. The matte polyester filament was used, and the fabric color was softer, more beautiful, and charming, suitable for making casual wear, sportswear, children's clothing, etc. There are dozens of colors, and the upper body is fashionable and beautiful, adding attractive charm. Due to its beautiful appearance and low price, matting polyester taffeta is easy to accept by ordinary people.
Summarize
Both polyester taffeta and spring sub-textile are polyester fabrics. But polyester taffeta is the lining material; spring sub-fabric is the fabric; polyester taffeta feels harder than spring sub-fabric.
